If there's one topic that seems to be always in the news - security, cyber safety and the growing number of attacks - we've pulled together a special update for you next Thursday, 27th June, in Auckland.

In the last few weeks we've seen various style attacks on US cities such as Baltimore, holes found in software on commercial switch gear, and even here in NZ we're seeing increased awareness of the risk to our networks from external parties. We also know from a recent survey that 94% of Kiwis are concerned about the security of their personal data. And then we have all the noise around what happens with new technology and networks, and who can be trusted to build our communications networks.

We think it's time we had a fresh look at what's going on, give you an update,as well as look to answer some of your questions around all this. We've gathered together some representatives and specialists from organisations that you will recognise and who will give their view, and then be part of a panel to answer your questions.

Our participants on the evening will be made up of industry representatives including Huawei and KPMG, and also independent security specialist Tony Krzyzewski.

We look forward to seeing you at this special After 5 event.

Head over to Eventbrite here to Register.

A reminder that you can arrive anytime after 5pm for a 5:30pm start of the formalities.
