As 2020 is coming to a close, the eMental Health International Collaborative (eMHIC) is excited to host its final webinar of an unforgettable year. With this past year bringing a whole new way of life for all for us all our 5th webinar of the year will be focusing on the lessons we have gleaned from 2020, and the stresses this particular festive season and time of year can bring to light for many.

There is no denying that this year has been a challenging year for most. Despite this, there have been numerous silver linings recognised. The impact of Covid-19 has taught us a lot, and expedited the acceptance and proliferation of digital technologies. In particular, Covid-19 has revealed the breadth of existing population mental health challenges (including issues around access to support).

This period of adversity has also helpfully fostered digital mental health innovation at an accelerated rate, resulting in exciting new initiatives shaping the blueprint for a new era of eMental Health. This year’s festive season will be different than those before. Stressors for many will be heightened, including financial stress, family conflict, loneliness and the inability to travel to see loved ones.

Join leading eMental Health experts from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Canada to hear about their 2020 reflections and learnings to guide us forward into the festive season and beyond.
