Auckland University - Invitation to participate: 2019 CDES Health and Wellness Summit

The CDES Health and Wellness Summit will open your eyes to the incredible variety of career opportunities available to you, as non-clinical health professionals!

We would like to invite you as an employer to hold a stall at this event to allow students to find out about the realities of your industry.  The students would also appreciate learning about the types of useful volunteer activities they could engage with alongside their studies that will make them more employable in your industry and whether they need to do further training after their undergraduate degree.

Purpose and aims
The aim is to showcase to students the many and varied opportunities in the health and wellness sector, as well as crucial topics facing this area today and in the future.  This event is open to students from all faculties, with a particular focus on Bachelor of Health Science and Biomedical students who know they want to be in the health and wellness sector but are unsure of what is actually out there. We are targeting all students from all levels and all faculties.

Kiwibank New Zealander of the year, Mike King has agreed to open the event with a keynote speech at 9.30am which will draw a large audience of students from all parts of the university.
