Healthpoint launched the first cybersecurity module into the ERPT
(Healthpoint ANZ (PTY) Ltd also launched the first cyber security module into the ERPT, The Royal Australian College of GPs -Emergency Response Planning Tool.
The ERPT is designed for general practices through-out Australia to build their own organisational emergency and pandemic response plan. The first of two modules on cyber aligns to the RACGP guideline -` information security in general practice’ The module is called `cyber incident response’ and guides the practice through a very practical way in dealing with a number of cyber issues. The next module will include cyber policy guidance.

Additionally Healthpoint ANZ is currently implementing a pilot across Victoria in Australia in partnership with the DHHS (Department of Health and Human Services, Victoria) to improve the resilience of general practice in Victoria with a more concentrated roll-out of the ERPT across the state, starting with more remote and non-metro areas. These areas are typically as has been shown in the last few days at enormous risk of bush fire.
