Issues paper released - Technological change and the future of work
The Government has asked the Productivity Commission to examine how New Zealand can maximise the opportunities and manage the risks of disruptive technological change and its impact on the future of work and the workforce.
Today we have released an issues paper inviting the public and stakeholders to participate in this inquiry. We have identified your organisation as one that may be able to provide insights into this topic and we would like to invite you to participate. Your feedback may help us better understand specific issues and help us provide relevant and credible policy recommendations in our report to the Government.
We encourage you/your organisation to read through the issues paper, think about the questions and participate by making a submission. Please find attached:
We also have a 2-minute video introducing the inquiry and more information can be found on our website at www.productivity.govt.nz/futureofwork
