NZHIT Congratulates Ganesh Nana!

It is with pride and gratitude that BERL supports the appointment of its Research Director and former Chief Economist, Ganesh Nana as the next Chair of the Productivity Commission, taking up the role in February next year (2021).

Cabinet this week approved Ganesh’s appointment as its next Chair.

Over the last 20 years, Ganesh has worked tirelessly to build and support an environment of collaboration and innovation within BERL, as well as with our clients and partners.

While we will be sad to see him leave, the BERL team is    strong and committed to realising the potential of our people and our communities.  We look forward to continuing the relationship that we have with you.

We are grateful for Ganesh’s efforts and achievements to grow, support and advocate for our kaupapa.  We are confident he will do well and make a difference in his new role.

Here is a personal statement from Ganesh about his new roll.
