New Board Members Announced for NZHIT

NZHIT Announces Newly Elected Board Members

At its Annual General Meeting yesterday the results of this year's board election process were announced with the following successful nominees announced -

Russell Craig, National Technology Officer, Microsoft NZ

Ross Peat, Executive Chair & Co-owner, HealthSoft NZ & HealthSoft Australia

Tony Wai, CFO & Head of Corporate Services, Procare Health Ltd

NZHIT CEO, Scott Arrol, said that the organisation had received six nominations for the 3 board positions yesterday and all of these were of a very high calibre, "we continue to go from strength to strength and our board is a key part of the direction we've been taking for the past 5 years and the goals we have set for the next five".

Russell Craig and Ross Peat return to the board having served their previous 2-year terms and Tony Wai has been a co-opted member for the past 12-months. All three are excited about NZHIT's plans for the future as it builds on the strong platform it has built and the high levels of influence, relevance and contribution it makes to New Zealand's health and disability sector.

These three join Kate Reid (Deloitte NZ), Kate Rhind (Healthpoint) and Harry Hawke (Webtools Health) who have one more year remaining on their current board terms.
