NZHIT welcomes new member - Dendrite Clinical Systems

Dendrite Clinical Systems is an international specialist supplier of clinical database systems with >250 hospital installations and ~200 national & international databases in more than 60 countries.

The company’s sophisticated clinical outcomes database platform creates an environment in which the analysis and reporting of data becomes easy and clinically meaningful. The flexible software provides clinical users with the ability to track time related clinical data for analysis of any medical condition or interventional/surgical procedure, all within a single software environment.

Through global open tendering processes, Dendrite’s innovative and flexible software has been selected by the New Zealand Ministry of Health, the Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand, the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and HealthShare to establish the following important database implementations-

New Zealand National Adult Cardiac Surgery Registry

New Zealand National Breast Cancer Registry

New Zealand National Trauma Registry

The Midland Region Cancer MDT Platform

Dendrite also has several New Zealand-based hospital installations in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch helping dedicated cardiac, cancer and paediatric centres collect, record and interpret data - throughout the patient’s pathway - to improve patient outcomes.

The company has two offices in the UK with teams on the ground across four continents, including Australia and New Zealand.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Peter Walton and Dendrite’s software team of engineers, they have been incredibly committed to the project through the whole process and I would certainly recommend Dendrite to anyone looking to develop a clinical registry or database.”

Professor Ian Civil, Clinical Leader of the National Trauma Network
