If you or your employees need to cross Auckland’s Alert Level Boundary for work during Alert Level 3 you will need travel documents. You can register for these online.

From 11:59pm on Sunday 14 February Auckland is at Alert Level 3 and the rest of New Zealand at Alert Level 2. Restrictions are in place for businesses to keep workers and customers safe.

Most businesses can operate, provided they can meet the rules to operate safely under the appropriate Alert Level.

At Alert Level 3, most stores must operate click and collect, with no customers on premise (except supermarkets, butchers, and petrol stations etc). Hospitality businesses, such as cafes, must operate contactless takeaway services only.
