Alcidion announce our acquisition of Silverlink PCS Software Limited (Silverlink Software)

Silverlink Software was founded in 1994 and is the leading UK specialist Patient Administration System (PAS) provider, servicing the UK National Health Service (NHS) market with their flagship product Patient Case System (PCS). A PAS captures all non-clinical information used in the daily management of a hospital holding the key data for administration and reporting of hospital activity.

This acquisition will provide Alcidion with PAS capabilities to complement the existing clinical capacity in Miya Precision. The combination of the two products alongside their network of partners provides Alcidion the opportunity to deliver a cloud-native, modern and modular Electronic Patient Record (EPR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to the NHS.

The investment includes 11 new trusts, expanding Alcidion’s UK customer base to 38 Trusts across the acute NHS market.  It is estimated that approximately 60+ UK Trusts will need to upgrade their existing PAS software over the next five years.
