21 November 2019, Hamilton
DETAILS ARE CURRENTLY BEING FINALISED SO PLEASE PUT THIS EVENT IN YOUR CALENDAR IN THE MEANTIME
Following on from the two previous highly successful, sold-out events this year, Women in HealthTech (WiHT) invites you to join them for breakfast on the morning of Thursday 21st of November 2019. The theme for this event is about unconscious bias and challenging the status quo - we're currently confirming at least two fantastic keynotes to speak on this topic.
This event is purposely being organised to coincide with Digital Health Week NZ so that as many people as possible can take the opportunity to attend while they're in Hamilton for the HiNZ conference. The Arena Lounge is located within the main conference venue at Claudelands so you'll be able to enjoy an excellent breakfast, network with colleagues, listen to fantastic speakers then head off all inspired for the first conference session of the day.
Women in HealthTech's mission is to empower women and diversity to flourish at all levels of the HealthTech sector by promoting and creating cultural change within organisational opportunities and leadership. Diversity cuts across all aspects of professional and personal endeavours; it has been shown that organisations that embrace diversity at all levels are creating more positive opportunities than those who don't.
WiHT is purposely raising awareness of the positive aspects of diversity and providing opportunities for everyone (regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or culture) to participate in an array of educational and networking events, opportunities for mentoring between members and collaborating with other organisations in health, women's affairs and business innovation.
