Tender - Disability Wellbeing Support

Overview

MSD is looking to provide one-off seed funding for the further development of apps, platforms and/or programmes that enable disabled people, including people with a health condition, to:
• stay connected to their friends, families/whanau and communities;
• access support;
• be independent; and
• participate in a range of activities in their communities

We are seeking proposals for apps, platforms and/or programmes that offer:
• Innovative solutions
• Access across multiple locations or, ideally, nationwide
• No or low cost to disabled people
• Not centred based (participants don’t come into a service provision centre)
• Development is already underway, but not receiving any other government funding
• Ability to be delivered within the next two years (by 30 June 2022)
• Ability to sustain ongoing costs without further MSD funding

Disabled people, including people with health and mental health conditions, must be at the centre of the proposal.
The focus of the disability wellbeing funding is community participation. We are not seeking solutions that support disabled people to engage in employment.
